NOUGHTY HAIRCARE RESCUE REVIEW + GIVEAWAY! {Closed}

I have been really struggling to find a vegan intense hair treatment similar to what I used before since I turned vegan [nearly 1 year huhu]. I had tried the Superdrug own brand which comes in a  little sachet, even thought this was nice it just wasn’t practical buy 10 individual sachets to use through as well as all the waste of the packagings that would be if I kept buying them for a frequent use…

A few weeks ago, I received in the mail a set of 3 To The Rescue products from the brand Noughty, this line is intended for frizzy and damaged hair.

I had never heard of this brand before, but a quick google search showed me that it was sold at Superdrug, it was affordable, it was vegan [yay!] and it was 97% natural. And let me tell you, the smell that came out of the bag with products was amazing! If you follow me on Instagram [you should really!] and watch my Insta Stories, you would have seen the unboxing.

My hair type I would say is oily with dry ends and very fine, so hope it gives you a reference if you want to try any. Let’s start with my favourite, the hair mask:

To The Rescue Intense Moisture Treatment

My opinion:
First thing that stands out is the gorgeous yummy fragrance that this product has without being overpowering. It is quite a thick consistency [which I love] and the way I personally use it is: after wash my hair with shampoo, I dry lightly my hair with a towel to remove the excess of water  and then apply the mascara mid length till the ends and let it do it’s magic for 10-15 minutes. My hair is SO soft and smelt amazing after using this hair mask even after I blow dry it and straighten it!

Ingredients:
Aqua (Water), Cetearyl Alcohol, Glycerin, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Coco-Caprylate, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Behentrimonium Chloride, Limnanthes Alba (Meadowfoam) Seed Oil, Cetrimonium Chloride, Phenoxyethanol, Isopropyl Alcohol, Parfum (Fragrance), Potassium Sorbate, Citric Acid, Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil, Sodium Phytate, Caramel, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Extract, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis Extract, Avena Strigosa Seed Extract, Lecithin, Sodium Benzoate, Linalool, Coumarin.

Where to buy:
At the moment, the only place available in UK is Noughty’s website.

Price/Size:
£8.99 for 300ml

Intensive Care Leave-In Conditioner

My opinion:
At first I was hoping it was a cream texture but when I opened it it was kind of a gel, which made me a bit disappointed. But I was too quick to judge as this leave-in conditioner made my hair really soft and fluffy and I didn’t need to use a lot of product to get it in all my ends of my hair! As well, I found this is a really handy product for when you are in a rush or just can’t be bothered to do the normal conditioner and rinse it off in the shower. The fragrance is even better on this than the Intense Moisture Treatment and again without being overwhelming. If you don’t like scented products you might not enjoy this but I would still give it a try!

Ingredients:
Aqua/Water/Eau, Cetearyl Alcohol, Polyquaternium-37, Brassicamidopropyl Dimethylamine, Aspartic Acid, Benzyl Alcohol, Ceteareth-20, Chlorphenesin, Parfum (Fragrance), Dicaprylyl Ether, Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Lauryl Alcohol, Dehydroacetic Acid, Glycerin, Sodium Chloride, Wheat Amino Acids, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Extract, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Seed Extract, Tocopherol, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate, Disodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol, Citric Acid, Linalool, Coumarin.

Where to buy:
You can find this at Superdrug Online or Noughty’s website.

Price/Size:
£6.99 for 150ml

To The Rescue Moisture Boost Shampoo

My opinion:
This product unfortunately it isn’t for my type of hair. As mentioned above, I have oily thin hair with dry/damaged ends and this product does not help my oiliness. It’s very gentle and leaves my hair really soft but I think this would be best suited for dry and damaged hair!

Ingredients:
Aqua/Water/Eau, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate, Glycerin, Sodium Lauroyl Methyl Isethionate, Sodium Chloride, Sodium Benzoate, Parfum (Fragrance), PEG-120 Methyl Glucose Dioleate, Polyquaternium-6, Coco-Glucoside, Glycol Distearate, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, Sodium Phytate, Wheat Amino Acids, Tocopherol, Citric Acid, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Extract, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Seed Extract, Potassium Sorbate, Disodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol, Linalool, Coumarin.

Where to buy:
Superdrug or Noughty’s website.

Price/Size:
£6.99 for 250ml
